My New Etsy Store - Will be filled up by December 1st, 2010
Ebay was gouging me with fees. No matter how I tried to balance my auctions vs. buy it now, I still ended up with a $100/month fee. Minimum. Some months it was $150. Yes, I know, many great vintage sellers pay anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 per month but my exposure is not there yet. Mama Stone Vintage has been on eBay from it's beginning (almost). She has incredible vintage and her stylin' is AMAZING. No one can touch here. Well, Thriftwares is close. IndiecultVintage, is amazing as well but she does it with high-end items. MamaStone does it with peasant 70s dresses and 80s bodycon. Not many furs, not much designer duds. Just good thriftwares and great stylin.
Wayfarervintage is my store. I have a room filled to the rafters with vintage but cannot afford a model, nor a photographer. I will bite the bullet soon and front the money necessary and the good pics will sell my wares. I have never given up but I know my experience on Etsy.com will be better.
Thank you to SallyJaneVintage on Etsy.com for her very thoughtful advice on how and when to transition to Etsy.com. She (Jennifer) is a LOVELY person and I would like to add a link to her store soon. I would like to contact her first.
